Why Grace Abound?

Serving God should be fulfilling in life, but how?

We are all busy with each days daunting tasks. Questioning any effect we could possibly cause to make a situation better. We might be wondering what talent would actual be useful in ministry as we leave unrecognizable gifts at the side. This website is for those people...

I was listening to a Bible sermon while working on a web site one night and a question was in my head, “How can I serve God better?” Then this thought came running through my head of how God’s grace is abounding, but still I asked, “What skills do I have to serve you Lord?” What kind of ministry could I be part of?

Then I came up with the thought realizing it was staring me in the face. What about a Christian Ministry website? God’s grace abounds kept running through my head. What? Is it just catchy? I then proceeded to look up words in the back of my Bible and of course abound came up fairly early, but then there was a verse with the words “grace abound,” and so I opened it up and read it.

The verse spoke directly to me. “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8. It hit me as if God had just spoken to me.

God is abounding with grace and love. It’s not my necessarily my skills and ability, but knowing that God will provide all that you need at all times so that you will abound in his good works. All that I answered back to God was, “that is awesome.” So, I took the first step of building a site knowing that God will provide the direction.

No matter who you are and what you do, God will provide in you all that you need serve in his good works. It is just a matter of putting one foot forward and telling God that you want to step up and serve.
